Iraj Hashi, Emeritus Professor
Iraj Hashi is Emeritus Professor of Economics at Staffordshire University, Stoke on Trent, UK where he has been working since 1978. Since the early 1990s, his research has been focused on aspects of the development of a market system in Central and East European transition economies. He has worked with universities and research institutions in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Macedonia, Poland, Romania and Russia on a range of research papers and projects dealing with economic challenges of transition in these countries.
His areas of interest include industrial competitiveness and policy, innovation and innovation policy, FDI spillovers, entrepreneurship, privatization and corporate governance, employee financial participation, etc. His work has been published in variety of highly considered journals.

Prof. Dr. Ivan Pavic
Prof. Dr. Ivan Pavić, after his undergraduate studies, he worked in the industry for three years before joining the Faculty of Economics at the University of Split, where he has been working to this day.
During his tenure at the University he has taught a range of courses in the field of economics and business organization. He is an active researcher and lecturer. He has authored or co-authored a range of papers published in internationally recognized journals or proceedings. He has published four textbooks. Throughout his career he was Dean (1996-2000) and later also Rector of the University (2002-2014). In addition, Prof. Dr. Ivan Pavić served as President of the Council for Financing Higher Education in Croatia, as a member of the Committee for State Awards for Science, and a member of the Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science, and Culture.
